So I wanted to look for my dad’s old Coney Islanders jersey. The Coney Islander dads used to have an actual travel team back in the 90’s playing against other filipino teams. Too bad he tells me it ripped up and was thrown away 2 years ago. So tight. In all my years of basketball, that would’ve been the only jersey with my last name on the back.

It’s so surprising to find out that I lost my godfather. Like a second dad to me. Mentor to me since I was prob 6. I was that little when you taught me basketball tricks I would use today, even though I probably wasn’t paying attention while you were explaining them. I’m glad I had a godfather like you. Miss you so much. =(
